Natural Instinct is an Australian skincare brand with over ten years of experience in natural beauty. They are all about plant derived, clean and nontoxic products.Their philosophy is creating skincare that is sustainable and affordable, making them accessible to everyone.

Natural Instinct products are free from over 400 man made synthetic chemicals, sulphates, propylene glycol, parabens, PEGs, artificial colours, fragrances, silicones and  mineral oils (which are typically used in conventional beauty products).

I recently finished their 6 Week (Natural Instinct) Skincare Challenge. During the challenge I was only using 4 Natural Instinct products, morning and night, to see what results my skin was going to have. The products I used were the following: Skin Refining Cleansing Oil, Plump and Renew Serum, Nourishing Facial Moisturiser and the Rejuvenating Rosehip Oil. All four products were used exclusively in my morning and evening routine for a period of 6 weeks to experience their performance over this trial period.

Firstly, let me start by saying how impressed I am with all four products. The range is affordable, and the performance of the products are truly exceptional.

STEP 1: Cleanse, Skin Refining Cleansing Oil

The Skin Refining Cleansing Oil is a great oil cleanser. It is suitable for all skin types (especially good for oily/combination skin) as it provides a deep and nourishing cleanse, without stripping your skin. The ingredients in this face oil have been carefully formulated to provide oilier skin types with a cleanse that isn’t going to clog your pores or leave an oily residue. I love this ritual especially in the evening as you really get to cleanse all the daily grime and pollution from your skin. The 6 botanical oil extracts provide skin with vitamins A and E, a deep pore cleanse, prevent blackheads and acne and protect your skin from oxidative stress.

STEP 2: Apply, Plump and Renew Serum

The Plump and Renew Serum, plums and renews the skin. During the six weeks, I noticed a difference in the firmness, tone and texture of my skin. The serum helps with brightening the skin and evening out the complexion. It’s a great serum not only for your face but for the delicate eye area as well. It contains brightening ingredients like liquorice and argan oil, that aid in diminishing dark circles around your eyes over time.

This serum delivers hydration to your skin and is light in texture which allows it to be applied to the delicate eye area, making it a multi-tasking face and eye serum.

STEP 3:  Rejuvenating Rosehip Oil

The Rejuvenating Rosehip Oil, is the hero product from the range for me. It contains nourishing, hydrating, anti-inflammatory and skin regenerating botanical oils. Whilst  providing skin with an abundance of skin loving nutrients, vitamins, antioxidants and omegas – helping to fade pigmentation and scarring. It is well suited for all skin types and will work particularly well for sensitive, oily or acne prone skin.

STEP 4: Nourishing Facial Moisturiser

The Nourishing Facial Moisturiser is a hydrating yet light moisturiser that feels great on the skin. It contains Sweet Almond Oil, Kakadu Plum, Rosehip Oil and Goji Berry extract. These botanical ingredients aid in brightening, tightening and improving the skins tone. I love how easily this moisturiser absorbs into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy. If my skin needs extra hydration or if I feel like I want to boost the moisturiser, I just add a few drops of the Rejuvenating Rosehip Oil to it. Like all the other Natural Instinct products I used during the challenge, this is also well suited to all skin types. It is particularly great for sensitive, oily and combination skin as it is non-greasy and will not clog pores.

I have enjoyed the Natural Instinct 6 week challenge and my skin has also loved the results. It is amazing how four products can make a difference in 6 weeks. If you’re after affordable, natural skincare that will perform, give Natural Instinct a go. Like me, you will love the results.
